I only recently learned that, if you’re using the on-screen keyboard when entering an email address, you can hold down the period key and it gives you all sorts of suffixes (.com, .org, .edu, etc.) I found another one today, quite by accident. If you’re not typing in an email address, the same move gives you a quotation mark. Simple and quite convenient, but why haven’t I heard about this before today? Are there any more of these shortcuts out there?

I had to go in and make some changes to the suffix names and punctuation due to autocorrect trying to be helpful. Your comment does make me wonder if ‘.etc’ is a possible domain suffix, because if it is I need an address or three with it.

I have no idea how long iOS has had this feature (since the beginning? IDK...), but I only found out about it recently. I used Android prior to iOS and hadn’t heard about this before.
